PALM SPRINGS SPOTLIGHT
TRAVEL, ACCOMMODATION, ASSUMPTION OF RISK & LIABILITY WAIVER

IMPORTANT: This agreement is intended to clarify participant responsibilities and allocate risk. It does not exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited. Participants may obtain independent legal advice before signing.

By registering for and/or attending Palm Springs Spotlight (the "Retreat"), I acknowledge and agree to the following terms as a condition of my participation.

1. PERSONAL TRAVEL RESPONSIBILITY
I understand that my travel to and from Palm Springs, California is personal travel undertaken voluntarily and at my own risk. Spotlight Authority, Culture Collective Inc., Culture Co., and their respective owners, directors, employees, contractors, representatives, agents, photographers, speakers, partners and event collaborators (collectively, the "Organizers") are not travel agents, tour operators, transportation providers or insurers. I am solely responsible for making, confirming and managing my own travel arrangements, including flights, ground transportation, transfers, rental vehicles, baggage, documentation and any travel required before, during or after the Retreat, except for any specific transportation expressly identified in writing as being included in the Retreat package.

2. PASSPORTS, BORDER ENTRY & IMMIGRATION REQUIREMENTS
I am solely responsible for ensuring that I possess all passports, identification, visas, permissions and other documentation necessary to enter and remain in the United States and return to Canada or my country of residence. I understand that border and immigration authorities have sole discretion regarding admission. The Organizers make no representation or guarantee that I will be permitted to enter the United States. Any denied entry, border delay, documentation issue, immigration issue, customs matter or other restriction affecting my travel is my responsibility and does not create liability for the Organizers.

3. TRAVEL INSURANCE
I understand that I am responsible for obtaining appropriate travel insurance for the Retreat. This may include emergency medical insurance, trip cancellation and interruption insurance, flight delay or cancellation coverage, baggage and personal property coverage, rental vehicle coverage, and any other coverage appropriate for international travel. If I choose to travel without adequate insurance, I accept the financial risks associated with that decision. The Organizers are not responsible for reimbursing costs arising from illness, injury, emergency, cancellation, interruption, delay, missed transportation, lost baggage, denied entry or any other travel-related circumstance.

4. MEDICAL CARE & EXPENSES
I understand that Canadian provincial health coverage may not fully cover medical treatment received in the United States. I am solely responsible for my medical and health insurance and for all medical, hospital, ambulance, prescription, evacuation, transportation and other health-related expenses incurred during my travel or attendance. I acknowledge that the Organizers are not responsible for my medical expenses or for arranging or guaranteeing medical care. In the event of an emergency, I authorize the Organizers to contact emergency services or seek reasonable emergency assistance on my behalf when circumstances reasonably require it. I remain responsible for all resulting expenses.

5. CANCELLATION, INTERRUPTION & CHANGES TO TRAVEL
My individual travel plans remain my responsibility regardless of any change to the Retreat. The Organizers are not responsible for costs associated with flight cancellations, delays, missed connections, weather, natural disasters, illness, border closures, government restrictions, labour disruptions, transportation failures or other circumstances affecting my ability to travel. I am responsible for reviewing the applicable Retreat cancellation and refund policy separately from this waiver.

6. ACCOMMODATIONS
Accommodation at Spirit of Sofia is being made available as a component of the Palm Springs Spotlight Retreat package. The inclusion or coordination of accommodation does not make Spotlight Authority or Culture Collective Inc. a hotel operator, property manager, landlord, travel agent or accommodation provider. I agree to comply with all reasonable property rules, occupancy requirements and safety requirements applicable to Spirit of Sofia. I understand that the Organizers do not control every condition, service, amenity, maintenance matter or occurrence at the accommodation property.

7. PERSONAL PROPERTY, LOSS & THEFT
I am responsible for safeguarding my own luggage, passport, identification, electronics, jewellery, clothing, equipment, money and other personal belongings. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the Organizers are not responsible for lost, stolen, misplaced or damaged personal property occurring during travel, transportation, Retreat activities or my stay at Spirit of Sofia. I am responsible for any loss or damage I personally cause to the accommodation, furnishings, equipment or other property and may be responsible for the associated repair or replacement costs.

8. TRANSPORTATION & TRANSFERS
Unless expressly identified in writing as part of the Retreat package, airport transfers, taxis, rideshares, rental vehicles, public transportation and other transportation are my responsibility. When transportation is arranged, recommended or coordinated as a convenience, I acknowledge that third-party transportation providers remain independent providers. I accept the ordinary risks associated with transportation and travel.

9. ACTIVITIES & VOLUNTARY PARTICIPATION
Palm Springs Spotlight may include workshops, photography sessions, meals, excursions, social activities, transportation, outdoor activities and other experiences. My participation is voluntary. I am responsible for determining whether I am physically and personally able to participate in any activity and may decline an activity if I am uncomfortable participating. I understand that travel and Retreat participation involve ordinary and sometimes unforeseen risks, including illness, injury, accidents, transportation incidents, weather conditions, unfamiliar environments and the actions of third parties. I knowingly and voluntarily assume the risks reasonably associated with my travel and participation.

10. THIRD-PARTY PROVIDERS
The Retreat may involve independent third parties, including accommodation providers, transportation providers, restaurants, photographers, speakers, activity providers and other vendors. Unless expressly stated otherwise, these parties are independent providers and are not employees or agents of the Organizers. The Organizers are not responsible for the independent acts, omissions, cancellations, service failures or conduct of third-party providers to the fullest extent permitted by law.

11. PERSONAL CONDUCT
I remain responsible for my own decisions, conduct and personal safety throughout the Retreat and associated travel. I agree to comply with applicable Canadian and United States laws, local regulations, property requirements and reasonable Retreat safety expectations. Any alcohol consumption or participation in optional social activities is voluntary and undertaken at my own discretion and responsibility.

12. RELEASE & ASSUMPTION OF RISK
In consideration of being permitted to participate in Palm Springs Spotlight, I voluntarily assume the risks reasonably associated with international travel, accommodation and Retreat participation. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, I release and hold harmless Spotlight Authority, Culture Collective Inc., Culture Co., and their respective owners, directors, employees, contractors, representatives and agents from claims, losses, costs or expenses arising from risks I have voluntarily assumed or from circumstances outside the reasonable control of the Organizers. Nothing in this waiver is intended to exclude or limit liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.

13. PERSONAL EXPENSES
Unless an item is expressly identified in writing as included in my Retreat package, I am responsible for my own expenses. This includes incidental accommodation charges, food and beverages outside the package, transportation, medical expenses, shopping, entertainment, baggage fees, upgrades, roaming charges, additional nights, itinerary changes and other personal or out-of-pocket expenses.

14. NO TRAVEL ADVISORY RELATIONSHIP
I acknowledge that information provided by the Organizers regarding flights, accommodations, transportation, border requirements, activities or local services is provided for general convenience only. I am responsible for independently confirming current travel requirements, government advisories, border requirements, insurance coverage, transportation schedules and any information material to my personal travel. I understand that the Organizers are not providing professional travel, immigration, legal, medical or insurance advice.

15. FORCE MAJEURE
The Organizers are not responsible for delays, changes, cancellations or inability to provide portions of the Retreat caused by circumstances reasonably beyond their control, including severe weather, wildfire, natural disaster, government action, border restrictions, public health emergencies, labour disruption, transportation interruption, utility failure, property unavailability or similar events. Any refund, credit or rescheduling rights in such circumstances will be governed by the Retreat's applicable registration and cancellation terms.

16. ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
By signing below, I confirm that I have read and understood this waiver; understand that international travel involves financial and personal risks; am responsible for obtaining appropriate travel and medical insurance; and am responsible for my passport, eligibility to enter the United States and ability to return to Canada or my country of residence. I understand that Spotlight Authority and Culture Collective Inc. are hosting a Retreat and are not acting as my travel agent, insurer, immigration adviser, transportation provider or medical provider. I understand that accommodation is included as part of my Retreat package but my travel remains personal travel undertaken at my own discretion. I have had the opportunity to ask questions and obtain independent legal advice before signing this agreement. I voluntarily agree to these terms.
